3 Must-Listen Business Podcasts for Emerging Leaders

Keeping afloat in the world of business requires constant learning and upskilling. Podcasts are one of the easiest ways to do this, let’s not forget that most of them are completely free.

Today I’m sharing three podcasts to help you become more business savvy while you’re driving to work or even during your workout.

1. Why You Have Happiness All Wrong with Robin Sharma

Why listen?

Robin Sharma is an international author and speaker, renowned for his insights on personal development and leadership. Drawing on topics from his latest book, Robin discusses the eight forms of wealth, including health, personal growth, and relationships. You probably know his bestselling book The 5am Club

In this podcast, Robin stresses the importance of prioritising holistic well-being over pursuing financial gain alone. He delves into the power of habits and shares how forgiveness and continuous learning can cultivate a successful and meaningful life.

Who’s it for?

Anyone looking for a refreshing perspective on high performance and success.

Robin reminds us that true wealth encompasses more than financial prosperity. Throughout the episode, Robin shares practical insights and anecdotes from his interactions with billionaires and entrepreneurs. He emphasises the value of helping others and being of service as essential to true fulfilment in life.

I enjoyed this podcast so much that I bought the book almost immediately. My wife called shotgun, and is reading it first…

2. Leverage AI for effective decision-making with Devaan Parbhoo

Why listen?

This is a newer podcast with a more unedited feel to it. Delivered by industry stalwart, and friend, Devaan Parbhoo. Devaan has that unique ability to make complex technological concepts sound basic and relatable. Until you try it yourself, that is.

Using generative AI is more than just about creating efficiency. It is challenging the way we think about how effective we are at the services we provide, the products we build, the decisions we make and especially how humans and AI can engage and collaborate.

Devaan draws on his experiences from spearheading AI and data analytics in his professional and personal capacity as he shares examples of how you can make better decisions with generative AI, using a series of workflows to identify information gaps, evaluate options and make data-driven decisions.

Who’s it for?

Anyone struggling with either understanding and/or integrating emergent technologies into their daily lives and business. And for those who want to learn more about leveraging the power of large language models, machine learning, and generative artificial intelligence.
